Fast Cables Merges Lahore Units to Boost Efficiency and Cut Costs

Fast Cables Limited has completed the merger of its two manufacturing units in Lahore to improve efficiency and reduce costs. The update was shared through a notice submitted to the Pakistan Stock Exchange.

The company combined its Unit 1, located on Canal Bank Road in Harbans Pura, with Unit 2 situated near Ijtama Chowk on Sundar Industrial Road, Raiwind.

This move is part of a broader plan to streamline operations after recent upgrades and expansion projects.

According to the company, bringing both facilities into a single operation has helped simplify production processes and make better use of resources.

The consolidation is expected to improve coordination across departments and ensure smoother workflow in manufacturing activities.

Fast Cables also shared that the integration will lead to annual cost savings of around Rs100 million.

In addition to financial benefits, the company expects improvements in product quality, faster production timelines, and better overall efficiency throughout its value chain.

The decision reflects the company’s focus on strengthening its operational structure to meet growing market demand.

By optimizing its manufacturing setup, Fast Cables aims to increase production capacity and respond more effectively to customer needs.

The consolidation has been carried out in line with regulatory requirements under the Securities Act, 2015, and relevant PSX rules.
