Budget Team to Receive Special Six-Month Honorarium, Says Finance Minister

Finance Minister Muhammad Aurangzeb announced a special six-month salary bonus for employees of the Finance Ministry and the Prime Minister’s House who played a role in preparing the federal budget.

While addressing the National Assembly during the budget session, the minister praised the dedication and hard work of the officials involved in the lengthy budget preparation process. He said the honorarium was being awarded in recognition of their efforts and commitment.

According to the announcement, the bonus will be provided as a special honorarium to staff members who contributed to budget planning, coordination, and related administrative work. Officials involved in preparing financial proposals, policy recommendations, and budget documentation are expected to benefit from the decision.

The finance minister noted that preparing the national budget requires months of planning, consultations, and detailed analysis. He said the successful completion of the process reflects the collective efforts of government employees and institutions working behind the scenes.

Aurangzeb also acknowledged the role of parliamentarians and various departments that participated in discussions and contributed to the development of the budget framework.

The announcement drew attention during the National Assembly proceedings, as it highlighted the government’s appreciation for the teams responsible for one of the country’s most important financial exercises.
