A team from LEGO has created a stunning life-size sports car using nearly 328,000 bricks. This amazing build is a full-scale model of the Koenigsegg Sadair’s Spear, a Swedish hypercar. It proves how far creativity and engineering can go with simple plastic bricks.
The car was made with 327,906 LEGO Technic pieces. It weighs around 1,800 kilograms, with about 400 kg coming from the LEGO bricks. Builders spent more than 9,400 hours putting it together. The body looks incredibly real, with every curve and detail matching the original design. Real car parts help make it drivable.
This is not just for show. A Koenigsegg test driver took it to the Goodwood Festival of Speed in England. The LEGO car reached an impressive speed of 111 km/h (about 69 mph). This set a new world record for the fastest drivable LEGO Technic car, more than double the old record of 50 km/h.
