The 3P Pakistan 2026 exhibition opened in Lahore this week, bringing together companies from the plastics, printing and packaging industries. Punjab’s Minister for Industries and Commerce, Chaudhry Shafay Hussain, inaugurated the three-day event at the Lahore Expo Centre on 3 September. It runs until 5 September.
Organised by Fact Exhibitions, the show has attracted more than 650 companies from over 30 countries. Visitors can see the latest machinery, technologies and products used in plastic manufacturing, printing and packaging. This year the focus is also on sustainability, responsible use of plastics and the circular economy.
After opening the exhibition, the minister visited several stalls and showed interest in the modern equipment on display. He said the plastics, printing and packaging sector is an important part of Pakistan’s industry. The provincial government is working to solve its problems and support growth. He also noted that Punjab has seen strong investment in recent years, with new industrial units being set up and existing ones expanding.
Under the new industrial policy, plots in Special Economic Zones can now be taken on lease. Industrial areas across Punjab are also being shifted to solar power. The minister mentioned that manufacturing of Vivo mobile phones and chip frames will soon begin in Punjab for the first time.
Organisers say the exhibition gives local businesses a chance to meet international suppliers, learn about new technology and form partnerships. It aims to boost innovation, exports and industrial activity in the country.
