Pakistani Olive Oil Brand Casa Lorelai Wins Gold Medal at London 2026 Competition

A Pakistani olive oil brand has made history by winning a Gold Medal at the London International Olive Oil Competition 2026. This achievement highlights the growing quality of Pakistan’s olive oil and puts the country on the global map for premium extra virgin olive oil.

The winning brand, Casa Lorelai (also known as Casalorelai or OEVO), was founded by Mohammad Hassan Tareen. It uses olives grown in Loralai, Balochistan. Tareen sent samples to the competition and attended the awards ceremony in London on June 27. Judges from around the world tasted the oils and gave his brand the top Gold Category award based on quality.

Around 1,200 to 1,300 olive oil brands from many countries took part in the event. This is the first time a Pakistani brand has won gold at this important contest. Tareen called it a personal milestone and a big win for Pakistan’s young olive oil industry.

Pakistan’s olive farming is expanding fast. The government provides olive trees to farmers and supports better varieties like Arbosana. Many trees have already been planted in areas like Loralai and Duki in Balochistan. The country recently joined the International Olive Council as a permanent member, which helps it follow global standards.

Experts believe this award will encourage more farmers and producers to focus on high-quality, pure olive oil. With its good climate and soil, Pakistan has strong potential to grow into a major exporter. Olive oil is healthy, chemical-free when pure, and in demand worldwide.
