Waqar Zaka Ranks 5th in International TradFi Masters Trading Competition

Pakistani crypto expert and trader Waqar Zaka has achieved an impressive fifth position in the ongoing International TradFi Masters Competition. Traders from countries like China, South Korea, the United States, Japan, and Pakistan are taking part. They compete using their own real money, not demo accounts.

The competition tests skills in TradFi, trading across traditional and digital assets. Participants must trade US stocks, forex, gold, silver, and cryptocurrencies. Rules require a high number of trades every day, covering all asset categories. Traders cannot hold positions for too long and must show active decision-making.

Rankings depend on trading volume, total profit, and risk management. Good trades add points, while hitting stop losses subtracts points. The winner will receive a luxury Mercedes G-Wagon worth around $400,000 to $500,000.

As of the latest update, China leads the leaderboard, followed by South Korea, the United States, and Japan. Waqar Zaka represents Pakistan in fifth place, with six days of competition still left. He has previously performed well in global contests, including a ninth place among over 3,000 traders.

Waqar Zaka is a well-known figure in Pakistan’s crypto community. He started educating people about Bitcoin when its price was only around $268. He has pushed for a national Bitcoin reserve and appeared in court to clarify crypto regulations. In 2020, his efforts helped show that cryptocurrency was not fully banned in Pakistan.

Zaka also worked on humanitarian projects using crypto to help communities in conflict zones. He holds a civil engineering degree from NED University and a business education from Stanford.
