Kia Pakistan has expanded its hybrid SUV range by opening bookings for the new Sportage L Hybrid and Sorento Plug-in Hybrid (PHEV). The move adds more electrified options to the local market.
Lucky Motor Corporation, the local assembler of Kia vehicles, is offering the Sportage L Hybrid in both front-wheel drive (FWD) and all-wheel drive (AWD) versions. These models combine hybrid technology with improved driving performance and modern styling. The Sorento PHEV joins the existing Sorento 3.5L V6 and Hybrid Electric Vehicle (HEV) models, giving buyers a wider choice of powertrains.
The Sorento PHEV brings plug-in hybrid technology that allows pure electric driving for short distances while offering strong performance and family-friendly space. Kia says the new models deliver a mix of power, advanced technology, and better fuel efficiency.
Partial booking amounts have been set at Rs2 million for the Sportage FWD Hybrid, Rs2.5 million for the Sportage AWD Hybrid, and Rs3 million for the Sorento AWD PHEV. Final retail prices will be announced once the government clarifies the applicable federal sales tax on these vehicles.
Bookings are open at authorised Kia dealerships across Pakistan. The new models are expected to appeal to customers who want modern SUVs with lower running costs and reduced emissions. With these additions, Kia continues to strengthen its position in Pakistan’s growing electrified vehicle segment.
