National Foods Profit Jumps More Than Six Times to Rs 26.39 Billion

National Foods Limited has reported a strong rise in its full-year results. The company’s consolidated profit for the year ended 30 June 2026 reached Rs 26.39 billion, compared with Rs 4.42 billion in the previous year. This represents a more than six-fold increase.

Net sales grew by 14 percent to Rs 50.65 billion. Gross profit also improved, rising 20 percent to Rs 19.45 billion, as the company managed costs effectively and improved pricing. Earnings per share climbed sharply to Rs 111.42 from Rs 14.85 a year earlier.

A large part of the profit increase came from a one-time gain linked to discontinued operations. Profit from ongoing business activities nearly tripled, showing solid performance in the core food business as well.

The board of directors declared a final cash dividend of Rs 5 per share. This comes on top of interim dividends already paid during the year, bringing the total payout to Rs 30 per share.

National Foods is one of Pakistan’s leading food companies, known for spices, sauces, pickles and ready-to-cook products. The latest results highlight both operational improvement and the impact of a significant one-off gain. Shareholders will watch how the company builds on this performance in the coming year.
