Pakistan received $3.63 billion in workers’ remittances in July 2026, according to the latest data from the State Bank of Pakistan (SBP). The amount is 13% higher than the $3.21 billion recorded in July 2025 and 4.5% more than the previous month.
These inflows provide vital foreign exchange support for the country’s economy and help cover the trade deficit. The strong July figure follows a record $41.6 billion received in the full fiscal year 2025-26.
Saudi Arabia remained the largest source of remittances. Pakistanis working there sent $914 million in July, an 11% rise from the same month last year. The United Arab Emirates ranked second with $737 million, while the United Kingdom contributed $555 million and the United States $317 million. European Union countries added $462 million.
