Pakistan’s Football Exports Rise 11.7% to $256.7 Million in FY2025-26

Pakistan’s football exports reached $256.7 million in FY2025-26, recording an 11.72% increase compared with $229.8 million in the previous fiscal year. The growth shows the country’s continued role in the global sports manufacturing market.

The latest figures also show that Pakistan’s overall sports goods exports performed well during the year. Total exports of sports goods increased by 10.08% to $424.35 million, compared with the previous year.

Football products remained the largest contributor to the sector. The increase in football exports reflects continued demand for Pakistani-made products in international markets. Pakistan has a long-standing sports manufacturing industry, particularly in Sialkot, which is known for producing and exporting footballs and other sports equipment.

However, the performance of different sports goods categories varied during the fiscal year. Glove exports declined by 5.91% to $59.57 million, showing weaker performance compared with the previous year.

At the same time, exports of other sports goods recorded strong growth. This category increased by 16.93% to $108.06 million during FY2025-26.

The overall rise in sports goods exports points to continued opportunities for Pakistan’s manufacturing and export sector. Football production remains an important part of this industry, while growth in other sports goods could help Pakistan expand its presence in international markets.
